I had the pleasure of sitting down with musically adventurous Harold, an A&R manager for a major record label. Harold’s first signed artist was Eugy (“LoLo”), and he has since signed the likes of AntsLive (“Number One Candidate”), Amexin (“Already”) and Nonô (“Feel Good Inc.”).

We chatted about our mutual love for afrobeats and how it compares to other popular party music, funny stories about his trip to Ghana and Nigeria, how the formula for happiness and love can be found in jazz, how the best music creates more love and less ego (per Wizkid’s latest album name) and more.
